“The Design Issue”

Hennessy collaborated with world famous design house Pininfarina to upgrade the features of its iconic Hennessy Very Special bottle. On this occasion, the world’s leading cognac brand hired us to create its very first print publication, destined to celebrate Hennessy Very Special’s most outstanding collaborations in design, music, photography, mixology and art de vivre.

 

We baptized the publication “Very Special”, conceived its editorial and artistic direction, produced all original text, photography and illustration contents. We also managed printing and manufacturing of this prestigious new communication tool.

 

The result is a 100 page book featuring exclusive stories about Nas, Futura, Os Gemeos, and of course Pininfarina ; as well as original photography by Dimitri Coste, Kirill Was Here, Chiara Santarelli, Richard Schroeder and more.

 

We also created a special insert booklet highlighting the parallels between the design evolution of the Hennessy Very Special bottle and some of Pininfarina Extra’s most outstanding automobile designs, including title treatments and fun commentary by Parisian artist Yué Wu.

 

We created three versions of the publication, with contents adapted to three key Hennessy markets: The U.S., Russia and Africa. The book was offered to guests and influencers at key Hennessy events and distributed for free at premium Hennessy retailers and lifestyle acounts.
